CarboSchools is an EU programme in which carbon science researchers and secondary school teachers invite young people to learn about local and global impacts of climate change, explore scientific research on the topic and act locally to reduce emissions of greenhous gases. UNESCO is involved in this promising example of collaboration between practicing scientists and secondary education. This is a highly recommended multilingual programme currently only Europe-based.
