  • > 4. Global Project on Microscience Experiments: BIOLOGY - Updated: 22-06-2007 2:27 pm
The experiments in the biology package range from studies of the structure of living organisms, to biochemical and physiological studies designed to demonstrate the activity of enzymes, composition of food, photosynthesis, respiration, tropisms, diffusion and osmosis, and the path of water through a plant.

Under the auspices of the Global Project on Microscience Experiments, many countries have already benefit from Microscience methodology through workshops in Microchemistry and the distribution of teaching and learning materials. RADMASTE has now expanded this methodology scope to areas of practical science other than chemistry. As for previous Microscience Teaching and Learning packages, this new teaching and learning package in Biology is, and will be, freely distributed through our existing and future partners.

Installation of the teaching and learning materials on the UNESCO website enables free down-loading by teachers, students, and curriculum developers. In some countries, these materials will also be introduced through Training Workshops. It is hoped however that many other countries will equally benefit from distribution of these materials.
