Establishment of an International Basic Sciences Programme (32 C/66)
[Report] The present document, dated 4 October 2003, submits to UNESCO's General Conference the comprehensive proposal on the establishment of an IBSP that stems from the recommendations of the Ad hoc Committee of Experts, and takes account of consultations with the Executive Board and principal partners of UNESCO in the basic sciences.

Update on UNESCO’s International Basic Science Programme (IBSP) for 172nd Executive Board Session
[Report] The Report presented by the Director-General to the 172nd Session of UNESCO’s Executive Board (Paris, 13-29 September 2005) encompasses the setting-up of a monitoring body for the IBSP, preparation and evaluation of project proposals, launching of IBSP projects, and a strategy of action for 2006-2007.
