Development of disaster preparedness manual

In cooperation with IDEP Foundation, a set of disaster preparedness manuals covering natural hazards such as earthquake, tsunami, volcano eruption, floods, landsides, forest fire, and others, have been produced and distributed.

The CBDM (Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction Management) toolkit consists of general guidelines on preparedness and prevention of disasters at the community level, a ready-to-use form book in the event of a disaster, brochures, posters on disaster preparedness, and 8 comic books on different disaster topics, included CD-ROM. The toolkit is available upon request to parties, government, officials, NGOs, community, and stakeholders working within the DRR framework.
