UNESCO Office, Jakarta is also working on broader environmental issues, such as disaster risk reduction and climate change. Making use of external funding and wide collaborations, UNESCO is able to utilize its experience and contacts to tackle global and local challenges which benefit from an interdisciplinary approach with an ecological perspective.
