Teachers and ICTs
Today, integrating information and communication technologies (ICTs) to the work of teachers is a must. Several studies show that its use – which is not limited to the mere purchase of equipment – can contribute significantly to improving students’ learning outcomes and optimising school management processes.
OREALC/UNESCO Santiago promotes alliances that further knowledge and allow elaborating proposals in this area, through case studies on the use of these new technologies in teachers’ distance education programmes, and organising regional experience exchange meetings.
