UNESCO New Delhi Library, Documentation and Information Services (LDIS)

UNESCO New Delhi Library is a specialized library catering to all fields of UNESCO’s competence, i.e. Education, Science, Social Sciences, Culture, Communication and Information. It is mainly used for reference purposes and serves the UNESCO staff, institutional partners as well as students and researchers.

It was created in 1948 with the aim to provide information and documentation support to the regional and country programmes of the Office through sharing and exchange of information.

    Visitor’s information

    The library is open from Monday to Friday (except on UN holidays) between 0930 to 1230 hrs and 1400 to 1700 hrs (lunch break 1230 to 1400 hrs).
