Chile: Recovery Begins with Teachers" World Teachers’ Day 2010 (4'59", in Spanish)

Video filmed in Chile´s Maule region in tribute to the key role played by Chilean teachers in the social, economic and emotional recovery of educational communities affected by the earthquake and tsunami on February 27, 2010. Film produced by the Regional Bureau of Education for Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago).

UNESCO applauds the work of these teachers who, through their drive and courage, have succeeded in rebuilding their schools for the benefit of their communities in the O'Higgins, Maule and Bío Bío regions.
