Lecture - Social Inclusion in Urban Areas

Organised in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute, Italian Embassy, the lecture will provide an insight into urban developmental policies vis-à-vis social inclusion which is one of the most neglected aspects of urban planning. Comparing Italy and India, which have both a unique heritage and vibrant culture, the lecture will highlight the need for socially inclusive urban policies and describe urban practices to implement them.
