Students Classical Concert

On 28th February a classical concert performance by "Music of Time" School Students, 9-15 years old children. This event was supported by UNESCO Tehran Cluster Office Education Unit who has integrated Arts in Education as one of the components for increasing the quality of education.

This concert was organized under the management of Mrs. Shohreh Ghajar, Head of Music of Time School. In fact Mrs. Ghajar, as a professional has devoted her life to teaching music and promoting music for children.
Just before the concert starts, Mrs. Shohreh Ghajar the Founder and Director of the Music of Time School and Mr. Qunli Han, Director & Representative of UNESCO Tehran Cluster Office, made the opening speeches. Mr. Han underlined the importance of the role of art, in particular music to attain quality education.

Talar Vahdat Concert Hall the first and the most prestigious Concert Hall in Tehran, was practically full. In addition to the public, diplomatic corps and UN agencies were present. Many journalists, actors and actresses in particular Mr Entezami, the most famous, popular and respected Iranian actor and Mr. Dehlavi as important figure of traditional Iranian music, honored the concert by their presence.

The concert was led and conducted by Mr. Arash Gooran, 19 years old who himself was previous student of Ms. Ghajar.
The concert however was performed by nineteen students
of Music of Time School, and all of them proved lovely talented with high capacities. The concert was performed in 2 parts and the children played many pieces including those from E. Grieg, I. Albeniz, P. I. Tchaikovsky and F. Amiroff.
