Organizing Knowledge for Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Development: UNESCO

UNESCO and the World Bank co-sponsored this event in October 1997 to engage academics and development leaders in considering the requirements for organizing and linking knowledge, research and disciplines to appropriately respond to the challenges of environmentally and socially sustainable development (ESSD).
