    El Programa para Parlamentarios pretende asegurar que los valores y objetivos de la UNESCO se reflejen en las políticas y legislaciones nacionales. La UNESCO pretende reforzar su interacción con los parlamentarios y otros representantes nacionales electos, así como con las autoridades que definen y abordan las políticas de desarrollo sostenible y asignan los recursos necesarios.
