During the live broadcast CBC TV gave a short tour of the UN Pavilion. Live images were broadcast of the UN Pavilion's UNEP/Canon "Focus on Your World" Photo Exhibit, the high tech Video Art Gallery and a short sequence explained how to send a postcard from from the UN Pavilion through United Nations Headquarters in New York. To end the broadcast representatives from the National Pavilions of Austria, Canada, India, Lithuania, Mexico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Switzerland held a sign in Japanese that read "we wish for a peaceful planet".
