Mr Zurab Tsereteli appointed Goodwill Ambassador 30 March 1996
He donated one of his works to benefit UNESCO programmes
Zurab Tsereteli attended the gala "Children in Need" organized at the Headquarters in October 1997
He supported UNESCO's "Programme de production radiophonique" transmitted in Russian on "Radio Mayak" and "The Voice of Russia"
Mr Zurab Tsereteli exhibited his paintings at the Headquarters during the cultural shows organized by the Russian Permanent Delegation
He is a member of the International Preservation Committee for the Bolshoi Theatre supported by UNESCO
Mr Zurab Tsereteli attended the Annual meeting of Goodwill Ambassadors on July 27 2000 and on February 5-6, 2003 at UNESCO Headquarters
