Nurturing the democratic debate.  
Started by UNESCO in 1994, the Slave Route Project aims to study the slave trade, increase knowledge about its roots and modalities and highlight the interactions it provoked in the Americas, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.
The exhibition includes maps, reports, documents, leaflets, commemorative stamps and videos, as well as cloth used as money to buy slaves in the 17th and 18th centuries.
