Ratification by Togo of the Revised Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Other Academic Qualifications in Higher Education in African States (Addis-Ababa, 12 December 2014)

On 6 February 2018, Togo deposited with the Director-General its instrument of ratification of the Revised Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Other Academic Qualifications in Higher Education in African States.

Togo is thus the first State to express its consent to be bound by the Convention.

In accordance with the terms of its Article V.2, the Convention shall enter into force one month after the date when ten Member States of UNESCO belonging to the Africa Region referred to in Article V.1.1 have expressed their consent to be bound by the Convention by any of the means specified in Article V.1.2.
