National Commissions are celebrating the International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2010), as proclaimed by the United Nations

UNESCO and ISESCO jointly organized the “Interregional Forum of the National Commissions for the Rapprochement des Cultures” on 27 April 2011 at UNESCO Headquarters.

Around twenty representatives of National Commissions from different regions as well as members of regional and international organizations were invited. During this Forum, concrete actions showing the contribution and the implication of National Commissions in the rapprochement of Cultures were examined.
