Involving National Commissions in UN Common Country Programming

The new brochure “Involving National Commissions for UNESCO in United Nations Common Country Programming” is just published

For the first time, a UNESCO publication highlights both the potential role as well as the challenges of National Commissions’ involvement in the UN “Delivering as One” process. The opportunities, challenges and eventual modalities for engaging National Commissions in common country programming processes are examined. The brochure also contains a number of key reference documents on this subject. The publication is expected to promote coordinated action by the National Commissions, UNESCO Field Offices and UN country teams. The French version will be available shortly.
