NO MAS !
Exhibition of paintings by Yolanda Naranjo

10 – 25 March 2009, Hall Ségur II

NO MAS !©Yolanda Naranjo.jpg Short and categorical, the title of Yolanda Naranjo’s exhibit condemns violence against women - No More! - the exhibition is composed of a collection of striking and powerful images representing the precarious situations to which women are exposed.

This Dominican artist has persevered throughout her career to raise awareness about and fight violence against women. Violence is a mechanism of power and control based on fear, which Yolanda Naranjo asserts is part of our daily lives, affecting everyone. NO MAS ! is a critique of VIOLENCE, in all its forms. It is an expression of protest that denounces our society and exposes the lack of dialogue that characterizes it.
