Creative Nature
Exhibition of paintings by Carolina Alfonso de la Paz

10 – 25 March 2009, Salle des pas perdus

THE EARTH SPEAKS- Carolina Alfonso de la Paz2.jpg The life of Dolores Cacuango inspired the Ecuadorian artist Carolina Alfonso de la Paz to produce images of the rural world and the stunning Ecuadorian countryside where Dolores Cacuango came from. Her paintings pay homage not only to this woman who defended the cause of indigenous people, but to all the women who have fought to protect individual and people’s rights. This exhibition by Carolina Alfonso de la Paz not only illustrates her artistic merit and creative nature that have already been recognized by many art critics, but also the love and passion she shows for her country and people.

A liberating message resonates from her paintings.
