UNESCO CI/FED is proposing a Mobile Media Center to address the needs of the most vulnerable members of the Darfur refugee population in Eastern Chad. The Mobile Media Center is adapted to the harsh environmental conditions in which it would operate while serving as a tool for protection and enhancing the quality of life among young people in the camps through a program of media and computer literacy. The Mobile Media Center would consist of four primary features: laptop computers, digital recording devices, a trainer, and a vehicle.
