UNESCO PARLIAMENTARY DECLARATIONS

In recent years, UNESCO has endeavoured to step up its cooperation with parliaments and
interparliamentary organizations by inviting them to speak in favour of UNESCO’s strategic and
programmatic objectives.

This multilingual document is a compilation of these parliamentary declarations adopted by the
elected representatives at the end of the principal meetings organized by UNESCO since 2002.
