Accession by Bahrain to the Convention relating to the Distribution of Programme-Carrying Signals Transmitted by Satellite (Brussels, 21 May 1974)

On 1 February 2007, Bahrain deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, its instrument of accession to Convention relating to the Distribution of Programme-Carrying Signals Transmitted by Satellite.

The Convention will enter into force for Bahain on 1 May 2007 in accordance with its article 10 (2) which reads as follows:

"For each State ratifying, accepting or acceding to this Convention after the deposit of the fifth instrument of ratification, acceptance or accession, this Convention shall enter into force three months after the deposit of its instrument."
