Ratification by Burkina Faso of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (Paris, 20 October 2005)
On 15 September 2006, Burkina Faso deposited with the Director-General its instrument of ratification of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. |
In accordance with the terms of its Article 29, the aforementioned Convention will enter into force three months after the date of deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, but only with respect to those States or regional economic integration organizations, as defined in the Convention, that have deposited their respective instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval, or accession on or before that date. As of the above-mentioned date of deposit, twelve such instruments, including that of Burkina Faso, had been received.
