UN Private-Sector Focal Points Gather in Paris

More than 80 participants representing United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations and business gathered at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 1-2 June 2006 for the annual conference of UN private sector focal points. The meeting entitled “Towards Impact, Scale and Local Ownership: New tools and Mechanisms for Effective Partnership Management” offered participants the opportunity to share experiences and build upon lessons learned in the context of evolving UN-business partnerships.
