In a joint project , UNESCO and UNEP seek to gain better understanding of young people’s consumption patterns and to work with them in promoting more sustainable consumption patterns for the future.  

flyer.jpe Through a research component entitled “Is the future yours?”, young people in 24 countries have been asked questions about their interests, consumption behaviour and vision for the future. Focussed case studies have been carried out on youth and life styles in six countries, and a training toolkit “Youth exchange” prepared and tested.
