Medium-Term Strategy (2002 - 2007) for the Arab States Region Document prepared as a follow-up to the Regional Consultation organized the Director-General of National Commissions for UNESCO in the Arab States Region (Rabat, Morocco, 6-8 June 2002).

 

The formulation of a medium-term regional strategy for the Arab States is a matter of urgency for UNESCO, as is the strengthening of its co-operation with the regional and sub-regional governemental organizations, mainly ALECSO, ISESCO, OIC, the regionaland sub-regional funding agencies and organizations, as well as all other UN system agencies and organizations active in the region.
