(First) International Conference of Ministers of culture of South-Eastern Europe and Italy
The International Conference of Ministers of culture of South-Eastern Europe and Italy on 19 July 2004 in Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) was opened by President Sulejman Tihic and co-chaired by Ministers Urbani and Halilovic

The Mostar Declaration and Action Plan were approved by the Ministers of Culture of the recipient countries of the Stability Pact: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia (FYROM), Moldova, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia, and the Minister of Culture of Italy. The meeting was followed by a visit to the Mostar Bridge, rebuilt with the help of UNESCO in particular and which will be inaugurated on 23 July 2004.
