Lysbeth Daumont Robles, a 14-year-old girl from Cuba has won first prize in the Universal Postal Union’s annual International Letter-Writing Competition for young people. In keeping with this year’s theme “A letter to my favourite fairy tale character” Daumont's letter to the “the brave tin soldier” from Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, tenderly depicts how the soldier’s bravery and courage can help children cope with today’s problems. More
