    Afghan Risk Training for journalists by the International Federation of Journalists
    After the death of 8 journalists covering the Afghan war, it became obvious that journalists need better training to deal with the multiple dangerous situations they face when covering a war. The IFJ set up a successful pilot course for Afghan journalists, >> More

    Capacity Building for Cooperation in Water Resources Management in Afghanistan
    "The implementation of the first phase was accomplished in January-February 2003 with the training of fifteen Afghan water experts coming from the Ministry of Water and Power; Ministry of Irrigation, Water and the Environment; Ministry of Higher Education including Kabul University and Kabul Polytechnic Institute. While congratulating UNESCO for its initiative, the participants requested continuation of this capacity building effort for the attainment of the objectives for the Afghanistan sustainable reconstruction and development." >> More
