 | 29 September - 17 October 2003UNESCO YOUTH FORUMThe third UNESCO Youth Forum will be held from 26 to 28 September 2003, immediately preceding the 32nd General Conference. The 18-30 year olds from around the world - approximately 200 young people - will be attending the Youth Forum to share their views and learn more about what UNESCO is doing in two areas of immediate relevance to them.

Education for sustainable development, notably freshwater management (Friday afternoon, 26 September) and Youth and HIV/AIDS: preventive education (Saturday morning and afternoon, 27 September). A third discussion will focus on how UNESCO can do more with and for youth: UNESCO and young people: ways and means for communication and cooperation (Sunday morning, 28 September).
There will be an opening plenary session with the welcome by the Director General and the Presidents of the General Conference and the Exectutif Board. Thereafter, the themes will be debated in separate working groups. A final report of the Youth Forum to be adopted at the closing plenary session will be submitted to the opening plenary of UNESCO's General Conference on 29 September.
