Teachers’ Photo Contest Winners AnnouncedAuckland (New Zealand)– Schools in Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Lebanon, Burkina Faso and Slovenia have won the top prizes in an International Photo Contest for Teachers, organized by UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet). The winners were announced here Sunday at the Navigators for Peace Congress celebrating ASPnet’s 50th anniversary.
The contest – ASPnet is Action - was launched as part of the anniversary activities. Forty-eight schools in five regions submitted photos of students as seen by their teachers. Apart from the five winners, an international jury also awarded 15 special and 20 honourable mentions, including three in the Congress host country, New Zealand.
