The conference will focus on reform and development of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and strategies for developing TVET teacher education in Mozambique. Discussions will focus on examples, lessons learnt from regional and international experiences and practices.
Participants will comprise of vocational educators and experts from Eastern and Southern Africa, UNEVOC Network educators from Europe and USA and researchers from German institutions such as Magdeburg University.
The conference is organised by UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Bonn, Germany in cooperation with the UNEVOC Centre Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Sustainable Development, Magdeburg, Germany, the UNEVOC Centre Ohio State University, USA, the Pedagogical University of Mozambique and the UNESCO Maputo Office. |
