International meeting on early childhood education, Buenos Aires, 24 -26 April The World Organisation for Early Childhood Education is to hold its 2nd international meeting entitled Building a good education for children. The meeting will feature workshops and roundtables on subjects including family, community and education; creativity and development and will be attended by the Argentinean Education Minister and representatives from the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture and UNESCO, Montevideo. The organization, UNESCO’s oldest early childhood NGO partner, works to promote the education of children from birth and achieve the conditions that ensure their welfare, health and development in families, institutions and communities.
