Fields / Disciplines
Bioethics.
Objectives- To promote an integrated system of research,training, information and documentation in bioethics, advancing the cause for the dignity of the human person and respect for human rights. It will focus on the principles of "Social Responsibility" and "Sharing of Benefits" as fundamental values with a view to informing global understanding of how such principles should be elaborated and developed.
- It will serve as a means to encourage consideration and acceptance of such principles by members of civil society, including corporations and other business entities. It will also serve as a means of facilitating collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the Center and other higher education institutions in other regions of the world.
