Just Published: Lifelong Learning and Distance Higher Education

    As the world becomes more and more globalized, education is increasingly crossing borders--be they national, regional, sectoral or institutional. At the same time, educational systems must respond to other profound changes, such as the explosion of knowledge and the development of information and communication technology (ICT).

    The present volume deals with distance higher education systems – especially those designed for lifelong learners – in the context of these changes.
