Issue No. 9 of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Bulletin was a Special Issue for the UNESCO International Experts Meeting "Learning for Work, Citizenship and Sustainability", held in Bonn, Germany, from 25 to 28 October, 2004.
While issue 9 of the Bulletin is devoted to various aspects of the issue of sustainability, the two supplements to this issue of the newsletter examined specific aspects in-depth.

UNEVOC Forum no. 4 is titled "Technical and Vocational Education and Training and the 'Triple Bottom Line of Sustainable Development'". It summarises the Discussion Paper prepared by the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for the UNESCO International Experts Meeting "Learning for Work, Citizenship and Sustainability".

UNEVOC Forum no. 5, authored by Mohan Perera (TVE section of UNESCO Paris), is titled "UNESCO Guides Demand-Driven Policy Reform in TVET - Bonn Meeting (Seoul plus Five) to Assess Recent Progress".
