EDUCATION- NEW IBE CD-ROM on Curriculum for HIV/AIDS Preventive Education
This CD-ROM features the Global Curriculum Bank for HIV/AIDS Preventive Education.
It is a bibliographic database of international curriculum materials and related documentation for HIV/AIDS education at primary and secondary levels of schooling.
The IBE aims at making available key documents in the field of HIV/AIDS preventive education through its curriculum databank. Users will be able to:
a) access directly full text documents archived on the CD-ROM for all those texts and documents for which copyright issues have been granted to the IBE at the time of publishing. The process of requesting the right to disseminate full text documents is still ongoing. Updated issues of this CD-ROM will include not only more entries in the databank but also more full text documents.
b) access full text documents through the Internet (updated link provided), when they exist online.
c) access all necessary information to contact authors and/or publishers to order a copy of a document that is not available in electronic format. NB: such information is systematically provided for all documents referenced in the curriculum databank.
The IBE has made all reasonable efforts to ensure that all information provided through this CD-ROM is accurate at the time of inclusion. However, changes in some links and electronic addresses may have changed since then. We thank you in advance to advise us in the case you notice such changes.
Once more, we would like to thank all those organizations and individuals who have helped us to collect and analyse the documents referenced in the curriculum databank and who granted the IBE the right to include full text documents in this CD-ROM.
