Individual requests for funding cannot be considered by the UNESCO Secretariat. All applications must emanate from the National Commission for UNESCO of a candidate's country. It is the National Commission that will submit to UNESCO the files of candidates who have exceptional merit, and who have demonstrated an outstanding potential to contribute to the social, cultural and/or economic development of their country. You must write to the National Commissions for UNESCO of your country whose address can be obtained through the Internet or through UNESCO at the address given below. Further information about UNESCO Fellowships may be obtained through the Internet.
Should still further information be required, please clearly indicate 'UNESCO Fellowship Programme', UNESCO, 7 place de Fontenoy, 75352 Paris, France, and avoid sending any documents or self-addressed envelopes that will not be returned.
