  Coordinating Committee
 

  A Coordinating Committee comprising UNESCO Staff and representatives from key partner organizations meets regularly to advise the Secretariat and support the coordination of the Forum initiative.
  This includes conceptualising content and mobilizing actors for annual global activities; facilitate, support and strengthen the Forum partnerships and other cooperation with external actors; support the process of establishing regional strategies of activity and cooperation within the Forum mandate; promote and support the Publication Series of the Forum, including identifying research results for publication and disseminating information regarding the Forum initiative to relevant actors and organizations.

The current members of the Coordinating Committee include two staff members of from each UNESCO sectors, and two representatives each from the Sectors’ main partner organization. The partner organizations represented in the Coordinating Committee are International Associations of Universities (IAU), International Council for Science (ICSU), International Council for Engineering and Technology (ICET), and International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP).
