One of 16 clearinghouses in the ERIC system, ERIC/IT focuses on educational technology and library and information science.

A key service of ERIC/IT is the acquisition, selection, indexing, and abstracting of documents and journal articles in educational technology and library and information science for input into the ERIC database. Users may search the database to view and freely obtain abstracts of more than a million journal articles and documents, as well as the full-text of more than 1400 ERIC Digests on a range of educational topics.
