  Palestinian Authority
Since the policy of reoccupation of the Territory and a strict closing of borders imposed by Israel for security reasons (division of territories in 50 isolated enclaves), the Palestinian population is experiencing an aggravated humanitarian crisis : mobility more than reduced, impossibility to have access to the most basic services. The present economic and social crisis only aggravates this tragic situation and makes the peace negociations more difficult.

International Conference on Palestine Refugees (Paris; 2000-04-26 1:16 pm - 2000-04-27 1:16 pm )
The purpose of the Conference was to provide information on the current situation of the Palestine refugees and to examine the role of the United Nations in finding a just solution to the refugee issue. More
