This document and the one of Indonesia and Malaysia, below mentioned, form a part in an survey of school-based sex education in 12 South East Asian countries. This work has enabled the identification of present practices and curricular emphases at primary and secondary levels, as well in the field of teacher education. This preliminary work has demonstrated the feasibility of attempting assessments of school based education in sex, sexuality and relationships.
