2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions: On the Occasion of its 5th Anniversary

Five years after its adoption, the Convention is ensuring that artists, cultural professionals and citizens worldwide can create, produce, disseminate and enjoy a diversity of cultural goods, services and activities, including their own. With a roadmap for implementation nearing completion, over 270 project proposals to the International Fund for Cultural Diversity and 116 ratifications, the Convention is positioned to advance a new framework for the governance of culture around the world.
