The Department of Urban Development, Culture and Sports of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia promotes exceptionally talented artists working in the field of visual arts, literature, music, performing arts, architecture and design, film and media art. In each field the ministry honores two artists with the amount of 5,000 Euros (for groups of artists up to 15,000 Euros are granted).

Applicants: artists at a maximum age of 35 years being connected with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia by birth, residence or work; individual applications are not accepted, artists will be selected for final consideration
