Analysis of the implementation of the Road Map

Survey and Results

In preparation for the 2^nd World Conference on Arts Education and to ensure the follow-up of the 1^st World Conference on Arts Education, UNESCO is gathering information on the activities undertaken by countries for the promotion and implementation of the Road Map for Arts Education’s recommendations.

To this means, UNESCO has undertaken a survey on the implementation of the Road Map for Arts Education from February to December 2009. A questionnaire has been submitted to all 193 Member States via the respective countries' National Commissions for UNESCO. This questionnaire, prepared by UNESCO in collaboration with a number of experts who had contributed to the drafting of the Road Map, focuses on the implementation of the Lisbon Road Map in each country.

It is available in English, French, Spanish and Russian.
