Social Welfare, Remuneration, Unemployment
Concerning social welfare, remuneration and unemployment, the government of the Republic of Korea provides no legal articles concerning the definition or the status of the artist, regardless of the person being socially recognized as such. National and public theatres, however, have inner regulations on illegal work applied to their members. For these reasons, general labour laws apply to artists.
