The Minister of Higher Education visited UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 11-13 October 2004. |

During his visit, the need to include cultural heritage protection issues in the review of university curricula in Iraq was discussed. UNESCO will assist the Ministry of Culture in its efforts to create an educational framework in the fields of cultural heritage management and conservation.
