The centre has its own database on Estonian literature in translation and in the near future is going to set up a website offering profiles of Estonian writers both in Estonian and in English. The Centre publishes information on Estonian literature in several languages. A small library of more significant Estonian books has been established for the use of foreign translators. They want to promote awareness of Estonian writing abroad, with particular emphasis on fiction, poetry, drama and children books and to provide the international literary world with up-to-date information on Estonian literature and the literary scene in Estonia.
