  Hatra

 

In 1985, UNESCO added the Hatra site to the World Heritage List.

 

 

  World Heritage Tentative List
At the request of the Iraqi authorities, 7 new sites have been
entered in the World Heritage Tentative List:
  • Al-Ukhaidar Fortress,
  • Ashur,
  • Nimrud,
  • the Assyrian City of Ninive,
  • Samarra,
  • Ur,
  • Wasit.
